Tank is a big loveable wiggle-butt of a dog! He is a mixed breed, heavy on Anatolian Shepherd or some other extra-large and slightly fuzzy breed thrown in for good measure. He is about 1 year old and is already 70+ pounds with HUGE paws. He is a big cuddler who thinks he is a lap dog. It is truly hilarious to watch him attempt to sneak onto someone's lap. An Ohio county shelter was kind enough to let us take him into our rescue. He is truly a 'diamond in the ruff' and his foster family is totally in love with him!! He is affectionate, intelligent, and eager to please. He is housebroken and crate trained. He is a bit nervous about riding in the car but loves hanging out with people, other dogs, and cats. He is very enthusiastic and eager to please. He will benefit from more obedience training, though he does already know the basics (sit, stay, come). She wants to please people more than anything, this should be easy to teach him whatever you want him to know. Tank is going to be a phenomenal dog for some lucky person or family. His joy for life is infectious and he puts a smile on the face of everyone he meets! Tank is already housebroken and crate-trained. He is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested (negative), dewormed, and microchipped. Tank is looking for an indoor home only. A completed adoption application, adoption fee, home visit(s), references, and contract are REQUIRED for adoption. We will not adopt to a municipality where pit bulls are illegal. PLEASE NOTE: Even though Tank is a mix, his adopter must follow all Ohio and local municipality laws, including making sure your insurance covers him and confining/restraining him properly. There is an adoption fee for Tank. Our normal adoption restrictions include the following: you must be at least 25 years old to adopt this animal, must have a securely fenced in yard, and must own your own home. We will consider making exceptions to these requirements on a case-by-case basis so please email us if you have any questions. Tank is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
