My name is Dolly. I am three years old and have lived my entire life in a backyard. My humans wanted me to be a vicious guard dog, but I was so bored and lonely and starved for attention I licked to death anyone who came near me. They consider me a failure and embarrassment so here I am in rescue. My bags are packed and I am moving on! My sweet nature and eagerness to please are my strongest personality traits. I am loyal, smart and a devoted traveling companion. My ride to rescue took over five hours. I patiently sat by my rescuers, head on the armrest giving small kisses every few minutes. I have never lived in the house so I will probably need a little help with potty regulations. I am very respectful of my foster caretakers and have never had an accident in my crate and I love my blanket. I can live with a cat that is dog friendly, no hissing or swatting my nose please. Children ten and over will make great playmates.
