Papillon - Small - Young - Male - Dog - Quincy (in FL)
Description
Quincy is a little delicate boned purebreed boy about 10 pounds and a Phalene (ears down). He was kept outside by his owner and was in need of some beautification! Which he has received from his foster mom and is looking sooooo handsome now. Quincy is cuddley, quiet, good with humans and other doggies. Although he might do well as an only doggie. He wants to be with his person, at your side or in your lap. Although he is small he can easily climb a 3 foot high kennel run but does so only to be with people. He can also jump 3 feet up in the air to peek in the window of the back door to see his person. He is a nice overall friendly dog, outgoing and affectionate. I would recommend a home either as a single dog or with one about his size or somewhat larger than him. He enjoys running with our two Nova Scotia Duck Tolling retrievers which are between 35-40 LB and have mellow personalities. He tries to be a little assertive with smaller dogs possibly because he wants a person of his own. He is coming along with his house training and needs to gain a little more weight but he runs like the wind. He is ready for a special home where he can be the love of someone's life.Please note that Quincy may make a good obedience dog as well. We had obedience dog competitor visit recently. She observed that he is very attentive and when told 'watch me' never takes his eyes off the person and watches for direction from them. This tells us that not only is he in tuned to people, he is willing to please them by watching for and doing as they ask. This should be a big plus to any household.
