Papillon - Small - Adult - Female - Dog - Betsy (in TN)
Description
Betsy is a wonderful little 10.5 lb lady quite shy, she is finding out people are ok, she will come up & nudge you with her nose for her share of petting. Treats have been a godsend, her confidence level grows everyday. She is very fond of my female pommie. She is house trained, meaning she will go out the doggie door with everyone else now & greet you at the gate. She is not aggressive in any way. She had never been on a leash til she arrived here, she does very well now espically when walking with my little female pommie. She loves to zoom around my pommies in an attempt to get them to play which they are glad to accomodate her. She does need other dogs to show her around & show her that all is good with this person, what they will do is what she will do. She is a very smart little lady. She can be so funny to watch, she has such little antics like the food dance, she will spin, dance, wave. When this lovely little butterfly opens up she is going to be so full of personality. She is also being exposed to lot's of different people for socialization which she has had little of I think. But she finds everyone who comes in gives her treats so that new people is a good thing. With a little love she is going to just continue to blossom. She gets along with some children, and loves to be petted as long as they have been cautioned to be gentle. As always small children & dogs should be supervised.She adjusted better than my pommie's when I changed residence recently she seems to love the country, but they have whole lot more room to run now as well.If you are interested in Betsy, please use Adoption Application
